Grant of up to €2,000 for a driving license
More flexibility during training
Having your own driver's license means freedom! No long waiting times, no changes of trains and buses - just get in and drive off. The HerkulesGroup supports our trainees with a driving license subsidy of up to 2,000 euros so that they can travel faster and more independently and, above all, no longer have any problems getting to work on time at the start of their shift. A real highlight that our apprentice Daniel Piskunov was one of the first to take advantage of.
Daniel is 19 years old and has been training as an industrial mechanic at Maschinenfabrik Herkules in Kaan-Marienborn since September 2024. He became aware of the HerkulesGroup through the educational fair at the University of Siegen. There he found out about the company and the wide range of apprenticeships offered. He did not want to go straight to university after his vocational baccalaureate, but wanted to gain practical experience first, he explains - and the driving license grant was a real plus for him!

“The financial support for the driving license was already advertised at the trade fair. As I was planning to get my driving license anyway, it was perfect, of course!” says Daniel. It only takes him 15 minutes to get to work by car - it would take him almost an hour by bus. What's more, the bus only runs once an hour, which makes commuting to work and back home complicated and time-consuming. “I am simply more flexible with my car and do not have to rely on public transport.”
Thanks to his trainee salary, he was even able to afford his own car. “It has a few quirks here and there, but it gets me reliably from A to B.” The driving lessons were also easy to integrate into his everyday life: “Sometimes I was picked up from driving school straight after work, but most of the time I started from home - around 4 or 5 pm.”
The driving license subsidy from the HerkulesGroup is therefore not just a nice extra on paper, but a real game changer for many trainees - both professionally and privately! This financial support makes it easier to get to work and gives them more independence. And let's be honest - who would not rather get into their own car instead of waiting for the next bus?
